Karlene is an award-winning megaproject expert and experienced speaker who has spoken at Windsor Castle and TEDx LancasterU. Her audiences include national risk and project management conferences in the UK (Major Projects Association, Association for Project Management and Institute of Risk Management), Spain and Denmark, and she has guest lectured at the University of Greenwich and the University of Warwick.

Karlene has completed an Executive Masters in Major Program Management at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School, as well as undertaking research there and she delivers project management training at the University of Oxford.

Karlene is a Senior Consultant at ARAVUN and Oxford Global Projects, leading consulting engagements for government and private projects in North America, Europe and Asia. She has written for Forbes, Entrepreneur, McKinsey, and  Deloitte.
